Search Engine Marketing (SEM) Specialist

We are looking for a Search Engine Marketing Specialist who will create and optimise Pay per click campaigns for our clients. As SEM Specialist, you will manage all paid campaigns through numerous channels (AdWords, Bing, Facebook, etc.) and ensure campaign targets are met. A successful SEM Specialist will effectively manage the paid search budget and work with the SEO and Marketing team to maximise ROI, drive traffic, and customers. The location is Circular Quay, Sydney CBD.


  • Plan create and build proposals and ad copies for new Ad Campaigns
  • Analyse, and Improve Ad Performance, factoring Spend and Goal targets
  • Perform ongoing paid keyword discovery, expansion, and optimisation
  • Maintain Budget pacing on all campaigns, ensuring they stay on budget
  • Identify and Configure Goals for each SEM Campaign
  • Generate daily, weekly, monthly performance reports
  • Keep up to date with the latest trends in Search and Ads
  • Identify and provide up-sell opportunities when applicable


  • Proven SEM experience and success managing PPC campaigns across Google, Bing, and Facebook
  • Well-versed in performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in search engine marketing
  • 2+ years SEM Experience
  • In-depth experience with bid management tools
  • Strong analytical skills and experience generating SEM reports
  • Familiarity with A/B and multivariate experiments
  • Strong Written and Verbal communication Skills
  • Advanced skills in Google Sheets
  • Must have working rights in Australia. No Sponsorship is available for this role
